Plasma Compressor Shell Cutting Machine

BACKGROUND OF THE PROJECT

The plasma compressor cutting machine is an intelligent device designed specifically for disassembling air conditioner and refrigerator compressor casings. Using plasma cutting technology, it efficiently cuts through the casing and quickly separates the stator and rotor, achieving safe, precise, and automated operation.

WORKING PRINCIPLE

The machine operates fully automatically via a PLC control system. The compressor is secured in a clamping mechanism, and rotating components precisely position it. Three cutting modes are available, depending on the model: single-circle cutting for refrigerator compressors opens the top cover, while double-circle cutting with vertical cutting for air conditioner compressors allows for complete disassembly. The plasma cutting head generates a high-temperature arc, which rapidly cuts through the metal casing and easily removes the internal stator and rotor. A fume removal system ensures a clean and safe operating environment during the cutting process.
